Privacy Policy

Bulbie ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Account data: name, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash). Optionally an avatar image you upload.

Content: projects, cards, messages, comments, attachments, and any other content you create inside Bulbie.

Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps of activity. We use this to improve the product.

Payment data: billing is handled by Stripe. We never store your card number — only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Device & connection data: IP address, browser type, and operating system, collected automatically via server logs.

To provide and operate the Bulbie service — including authentication, project management, messaging, notifications, and AI features.

To send transactional emails (password reset, invite notifications, due-date reminders). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.

To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

To comply with legal obligations.

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union (or the region you selected during setup). File attachments are stored on Cloudflare R2.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and content are permanently deleted within 30 days.

We use a small number of third-party services to operate Bulbie:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Cloudflare R2 — file storage
• Firebase / Expo — push notifications for the mobile app
• OpenAI — AI features (your message content may be sent to OpenAI's API)
• Google — Google Calendar integration (if connected), Google OAuth login
• Slack — Slack integration (if connected)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to any third party.

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@bulbie.app.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email or via an in-app notice if we make material changes.
